Arranging your training package with The Bike School

Ian Molesworth bike school

Stage one of your training with our School will consist of a short meeting, usually lasting 30-45mins. This is your time to meet the Chief Instructor, have a coffee and a look around the facility and to view the machines you will be using. This gives you, the customer, plenty of time in a relaxed environment to ask any questions you may have and to ‘build’ your training programme around your work, general availability and test appointment times.

Unless you specifically want an intensive style of course the average turnaround time for a candidate is around three weeks. Training days need not run concurrently.

You will be asked on this day to pay your initial course deposit to cover your insurance and test fee’s and present both parts of your Driving Licence, so your diary may be helpful to ensure we don’t double book you!! You will leave this meeting with a CBT start date, a Theory and Hazard Awareness Test appointment date and a home study pack to assist you in preparation for your training and tests.

Training Requirements/Driving licence.

You will be required to present both parts of your driving licence when attending training. This will take the form of your provisional licence or your full car licence with provisional entitlement to ride.

It is important to present yourself for training wearing suitable clothing. You will be advised on the correct clothing and footwear during your first training session, and this will be discussed at the initial booking meeting, Although it is preferable for the candidate to wear their own equipment should this not be possible then The Bike School can provide this free of charge.
